Description Marc-Éric Dupuis 2005-02-21 07:38:10 UTC
Monkeyd does not work on amd64. It will compile and run but if you ask for an existing document you will have a blank page with <html><head></head><body></body></html> as the source. Asking for something non-existing will give a 404 tough.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge monkeyd
2./etc/init.d/monkeyd start
3.lynx localhost:2001

I have the same problem.

php works though (i.e. pointing firefox to localhost:2001/phpinfo.php)
Comment 2 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-15 11:30:37 UTC
it seems to "work" here, but i get files served as binary files. i doubt that this is arch-specific. does this really only happen on amd64?
Comment 3 Marc-Éric Dupuis 2005-04-17 19:43:43 UTC
Well I used to use monkeyd without ever having any difficulty but I was not able to get it to serve an html page ever since I have switched to amd64. What do you mean files get served as binary? Here an empty html page as described earlier is what I get, not a binary file/download dialog.
Comment 4 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-31 09:24:59 UTC
is this fixed with 0.9.1 by any chance?
