I made an ebuild for qLCR (Least Cost Router). It's a german-only wvdial front-end, that finds out the cheapest call-by-call provider and sets the appropriate configuration for wvdial -- just like SmartSurfer for Windows (http://smartsurfer.web.de/).

I'm not sure about usefulness of this thing. 
the sf.net statistics did not shaked the world either ;)

Yes I think its worth it .. it is usefull on every modem-connection in germany if you want to save money :)
