When trying to use help menu items(such as contents) nothing happens. After a review the logs, it appears eclipse is not starting mozilla correctly. Logs: heikki@judah heikki $ cat $HOME/eclipse-workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.help.base/browser.log Aug 23, 2004 14:50:04.849 NEW SESSION Aug 23, 2004 14:50:04.849 /usr/bin/mozilla Aug 23, 2004 14:50:04.863 /usr/bin/which: no netscape in (/opt/j2sdk1.4.2/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/heikki/bin) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start eclipse-sdk 2. Try 'help contents' 3. Review the log Checking on another installation of eclipse it also seems that in the Window->Preferences->Help the list of external web browser adapters is empty. Is this right? On 3.0.0 I was able to configure eclipse to use konqueror by a simple modification of the configuration. Now it does not seem to be possible to change the browser at all. This bug may also apply to other architectures.
Is this fixed with mozilla-1.7.6-r1 mozilla-launcher-1.28?
I got the help/mozilla integration to work with eclipse 3.0.2 (I attached my ebuild to #86850). I'm running amd64, mozilla-1.7.6-r1 and mozilla-launcher-1.32. I do not have konqueror installed so I cannot test if eclipse finds it or not.
Please see if you can reproduce this problem on amd64 with the 3.1 final ebuild, then reopen this bug.
