Description Joel Mayes 2005-02-21 01:37:38 UTC
mutt-1.5.8-r1 works properly under amd64 and the current amd64 version (1.5.6-r4) breaks if you have NNTP in USE

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Comment 1 Roland Bär 2005-02-21 02:24:45 UTC
Can confirm that mutt-1.5.6-r4 with "nntp" in USE flags is broken.
Maybe better fill in a bug report regarding that version broken
Comment 2 Joel Mayes 2005-02-21 02:44:01 UTC
I've already done that see bug #82617
The maintainer has marked it as fixed-resolved with the comment that it is fixed in 1.5.8, I've added a note that 1.5.8 is masked by keyword for all hardware and that it surely should be fixed in 1.5.6
Comment 3 Roland Bär 2005-02-21 03:03:51 UTC
Joel, just reopen Bug #82617
Have seen some weird commenting out in 1.5.6-r4 ebuild, also the
digest seams to be currently invalid here...
Comment 4 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-21 05:20:31 UTC
Joel: we have a testing policy of 30 days before ebuilds go stable, if there is no problem
Comment 5 Aron Griffis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-25 07:11:33 UTC
The mutt-1.5.6-r4 and -r5 ebuilds are fixed now. Sorry about the nntp patch fixups. 1.5.8-r1 will go stable after the appropriate testing period
