During videocalls, Firefox doesn't work ok because it can't detect or make use of any microphone (computer's, external, etc.) and it makes some interference and noisy audio when another person opens its microphone. It happened always in ESR version, in systemd gnome and openrc plasma profile using the defaults of the system. Tried rebuilding with pulseaudio especifically pointed to FF but the result was worst since started to freeze and crash after the rebuild. Tried the bin package and it works ok. Tried the ~amd64 package of FF and it works ok too (currently switched to that since I need it to work) emerge --info : emerge --info Portage 3.0.28 (python 3.9.8-final-0, This is probably related to the rust issue and should be fixed once the same patch landed in ESR (https://bugs.gentoo.org/822138#c13).
Fix landed in 91.4.0esr. Please re-open if you still experience problems with 91.4.0+.
thanks, will test it once 91.4 hits stable... Is there any estimation of time (days, week) for this?
solved, thanks a lot!
