emerging mutt with the nntp patch fails when authenticating the
downloaded patch with a bad file size error

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. USE="nntp" emerge mutt
Actual Results:  
the emerge stops when authenticating the nntp patch

Expected Results:  
sucsecful emerge

should add this is mutt-1.5.6-r4 on AMD64, sorry to be slack :-(

Fixed in 1.5.8+

1.5.8 is masked by keyword for every platform surely this should be fixed
for 1.5.6?

I tested 1.5.6-r4 with USE=nntp on amd64, it works fine.  You're either hitting a bad mirror or just need to rm -f /usr/portage/distfiles/*nntp* and try again.

Yep, you were right.  I'm sorry about that.  I've just committed the updated digest; it should work when it propogates from cvs to the mirrors.
