since I have USE="-xmms" and no xmms installed, it looks like a dependency problem.

1. emerge flac

Since i do have xmms installed, and do have xmms available i can say that it's more then just xmms dependancy. It fails here aswell

Comment 2 Jory A. Pratt 2005-02-19 10:42:16 UTC
This is actually a libtool error that can be correct sooner or later all bugs will be out of libtool or atleast I hope I will post info as soon as I correct ebuild for ya to run it with the --copy --force
Comment 3 Jory A. Pratt 2005-02-19 16:10:01 UTC
emerge sync and you should be good to go .... be prepared I have to open another bug report tho seeing flac 1.1.2 does break xmms along with other things.
Comment 4 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-20 02:30:00 UTC
this has been fixed by adding "libtoolize --copy --force" to the ebuild. Please
reopen if compiling/configure still breaks.
