Just wondering if there are any plans to provide a 1.1.4 ebuild of mono? And there is a new version of mod_mono available. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Ebuild status information? Go-Mono!
Last time I wanted 1.1.x to be added to portage, I was told they do not add ebuilds for beta. But...: QUOTE: As of this version, Mono 1.1.4 has received more testing and more scrutiny that Mono 1.0.6, and we strongly recommend that people switch to the 1.1.4 release. We will continue to support 1.0.x for those who can not do a larger change, but keep in mind that 1.1.4 at this point is stabler, has many less bugs, faster, better tested and more complete than the 1.0.6 series. ---- Will you, please, add it now? Thanks...
I have every intention of getting 1.1.4 into the tree. However, it's not just, "*poof*" and it's in thing. If you look at most of my commits last week, they were prep work for getting 1.1.4 into the tree. Several apps need patch to compile/function on the 1.1.x series. When i'm actually comfortable that all of our tree won't break when 1.1.x is in, i'll be adding it; no sooner. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for the status update! I noticed the patch to tomboy, so I suspected a mono update was on the way. :') If you want me to test some ebuilds or so, mail or post it here. If I can help with anything that is.

All of these have been added to portage, with varying versions, package.masks, etc. Marking FIXED.
Thank you, Peter... ...anyway, is there a reason why mono-1.1.4 !depends on pnet?
Nope, fixed in CVS. Thanks for the catch.
