It would be nice to have a set of emergable scripts that are in the Power Management Guide.
While it is okay to manually copy'n'paste the scripts, I'd rather have an ebuild that contains those files (and optionally creates a new runlevel 'battery').

Hmm, the three scripts are extremely small and once the baselayout devs are satisfied with the work on laptop-mode stuff they'll include it. Using a separate ebuild is imho a bit of a waist.
