Description Kaiting Chen 2005-02-17 13:28:45 UTC
MySQL won't compile with linux-headers-2.6.10.
I've got a slightly hacked ebuild, which may be the reason. I'll try emerging again, but the problem is that in /usr/include/asm/bitops.h, set_bit and clear_bit are redefined with a different type.

This might be because I disabled using assembly versions of some string operation in mysql by configuring it without the --enable-assembler switch.

Reproducible: Always

Sorry, it's a Mysql bug. However, the fix on this page should be applied. http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=7971

I'm expecting 4.0.24 very soon, so I'm not rushing to port the fix back to 4.0.2[23].
