I think it would be a great enhancement for gedit to react to <ESC> in the goto line and search dialog. I think it should be easy to change in code, but I don't know which version to change. If I change the current 2.8.1 code it'll not go into the next version of GNOME, and I've no Gnome CVS version installed. What do you think? Perhaps simply forward this feature request to gnome.org?
