When I 'emerge gabber' on amd64 it fails:

GabberWin.cc: In member function `void GabberWin::init_menus()':
GabberWin.cc:294: error: `template' (as a disambiguator) is only allowed within templates
GabberWin.cc:298: error: `template' (as a disambiguator) is only allowed within templates
GabberWin.cc:302: error: `template' (as a disambiguator) is only allowed within templates

please post your emerge info too. it seems not amd64-related but gcc-3.4
