sample log

I'm part of the team operating the source mirror from RNL - Técnico Lisboa (ftp.rnl.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/pub/gentoo/gentoo-distfiles).

We've noticed a few connection resets (sample log attached) ocasionally happening since the beginning of the month, but since yesterday it got a lot worse: our rsync cronjob that runs every 4h only managed to run once yesterday, and failed to run even once today.

How should we proceed/how can we help?

Our masterdistfiles mirror is hosted by the OSL, I've raised a ticket with them (referencing this bug) to take a look.

Can you let us know if things improve or stay poor in terms of sync performance?

The OSL said they poked their server and to try again. Please let me know if you continue to experience issues.

The poking seems to have done the trick! It's slowly getting up to date.
If it starts failing again I'll share it here.
