Kåre: "new ebuild" as summary isn't a good idea
Did you get this to compile? ./configure && make got following problems here on amd64: 1. Compilation error: c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/qt/3/include -I. -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -D_REENTRANT -O2 -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -c cbrushtool.cpp cbrushtool.cpp: In member function `virtual void CBrushLine::drawShape(QPainter&)': cbrushtool.cpp:34: error: no match for call to `(QPen) ()' Any ideas? Had run make -i, seams the only error. 2. Following warning cbrushtool.cpp: In member function `virtual void CBrushLine::moveBy(double, double)': cbrushtool.cpp:60: warning: passing `double' for converting 1 of `void QPoint::setX(int)' This warning appears several times....
The mentinond compilation bugs from the beta version f4lm-0.1.tar.gz can be fixed with the CVS version. As f4lm-0.1.tar.gz is old(2003), could you request upstream a new "beta" version.tar.gz, so we are in sync with CVS and patching is unneeded.
Filled in a Bug upstream, to get a new beta version https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1153340&group_id=87799&atid=584425

Hi Roland. Thx for all the work you have put into this ebuild. To the Category, I think it should be placed under "net-www" I would be very nice, if the ebuild could make a menu item/icon under "Graphic" under Gnome/KDE menu. Is the correct bin name f4lm? should't it be f4l without the "m"? Thx again.
Created attachment 53164 [details] f4l-0.2.ebuild (New package) - Added Desktop entry Appears at same place as e.g. bluefish - Minor (SRC_URI) Yes, the resulting executable is "f4lm", upstream....

Re-assign.

I have made an ebuild for version 0.2.1. gcc 4.1 compatibility patch was needed. Everything is available at http://gentoo-sunrise.org/svn/sunrise/media-gfx/f4l/

Created attachment 132230 [details] updated f4l-0.2.1.ebuild This ebuild doesn't work anymore with new qt3-eclass. instead of ${QTDIR}/bin/qmake we have to use eqmake3. Otherwise it will use qt4-qmake, and this causes many errors ;) Furthermore i use qt_min_version for the qt3-dependency, which is nicer (in my opinion :P)

I did not use qt_min_version in the last ebuild i posted, this one now does.

But i can't tell you more, i don't use it (yet), just wrote the ebuild ;)
there as several flash implementation none complete and really working...community should merge in one single project... ok but i think it's OT here :)
Created attachment 209707 [details, diff] additional patch in order to compile with newer gcc I don't sure if it is 4.4 gcc. Yes, I know this program is dead upstream; but as its ebuild is in sunrise, I think this patch may be useful...
Created attachment 209709 [details] ...and ebuild which uses this patch
