Description Marcos González 2005-02-14 13:24:39 UTC
Firstly I searched the database and didn't find a bug request about this. I apologize if one already exists.

The problem happens when browsing my filesystem with Nautilus. I do right-click on an MP3 file, the dialog tries to open, and then Nautilus crashes. Running it from a console I got those messages:

(nautilus:12469): libglade-WARNING **: could not find glade file '/usr/share/audio-properties-view/audio-properties-view.glade'

(nautilus:12469): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkTable' to `GtkBox'

(nautilus:12469): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkbox.c: line 372 (gtk_box_pack_start): assertion `GTK_IS_BOX (box)' failed

It fails to find the '/usr/share/audio-properties-view/audio-properties-view.glade' file, because it's located in '/usr/share/nautilus/glade/audio-properties-view.glade'. I've had this problem for some time, but I found in the forums more pepole with the same problem: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-2092460.html#2092460

I'm using nautilus-2.8.2-r1 and here is my emerge info:

remove nautilus-media , it's unsupported. I'll mask the thing because of it's unreliablity.
Comment 3 Marcos González 2005-02-14 13:42:35 UTC
Thank you for such a fast answer! I unmerged it and the problem vanished. I'll post it in the forums, so people are aware of it.
