Hello, I'm Randall Vasquez. I'm would like to contribute and help maintain packages in Gentoo (maybe other things), but what better place to start that Guru! FWIW I'm currently a homebrew maintainer and one of the leaders of Homebrew Cask, where I made a couple AIs (cause the first one wasn't built in Ruby, and so I had to rewrite it later) to help with package management. I'm the "Randall" that is listed on the copyright of Homebrew. So as far as packaging, I'm pretty experienced. Just currently getting used to using Portage, and I think I be a very productive member of the Gentoo community. That said, I'm heavily involved in the cyber security world, and would really prefer to only have my first name published whenever possible. In general, I try to keep the smallest footprint possible online. I know this is not always possible with the current Gentoo rules, and I'm 100% understanding and in agreement. I will make sure my commits for Gentoo are signed with my full name; however still, I would appreciate it very much, if where ever possible, simply use my first name. This is for my own safety and privacy, as I do deal with a number of sensitive areas for a wide array of companies.
