second issue would be the redundant specification of the downloaded iso file in cdrecord's description: [...] <c>cdrecord dev=/dev/hdc <downloaded iso file></c> [...] followed by the path to the ISO file :) --> path to the iso file is already specified in the cdrecord's command, so there's no reason for being specified again.
