As the subject says, both helixplayer and helixplayer-bin install in /opt, and neither block on the other (this applies to all versions in the tree as of an hour ago). Also, shouldn't helixplayer be installed in /usr, what with it not being a binary package an' all? :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: (all in ~x86) 1. emerge helixplayer 2. look in /opt/HelixPlayer 3. emerge helixplayer-bin 4. no profit, but overwritten helixplayer install ;-) Actual Results:
Maybe this is the time to remove helixplayer-bin as I don't think anybody is going to use it, anyway.
helixplayer-bin is not longer in the tree, it's successor is helixplayer. this also removes the collision. =)
