Description Andreas Volz 2005-02-12 02:55:22 UTC
Since I installed sylpheed-claws-1.0.0 selecting the icon themes doesn't work. I could select them, but they didn't change. Even a restart of sylpheed-claws doesn't help.

Hmm, works for me. The "Use this" button doesn't work for you?
Comment 3 Andreas Volz 2005-02-13 01:40:50 UTC
No, doesn't work. I'll try another fresh user later...
Comment 4 Andreas Volz 2005-02-13 02:17:23 UTC
Hm, also oher users couldn't change themes. There're a lot of themes in the list, but nothing happens if I apply them. Also "Use this" has no effect.

It seems sylpheed-claws doesn't write a theme enty into sylpheedrc if I change the theme and exit sylpheed-claws. How should a theme entry in sylpheedrc look like?
Comment 5 Marius Mauch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-18 08:46:52 UTC
Example from my sylpheedrc (in the [common] section):
pixmap_theme_path=/usr/share/sylpheed-claws/themes/Crystal

If you're up for it an strace run when you're trying to change the theme could help.
Comment 6 Marius Mauch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-23 05:15:35 UTC
Can't reproduce here and would definitely need more info (strace, debug log).
