Description John Herdy 2005-02-11 14:43:25 UTC
I have locked packages in a profile and this profile is available on all servers, I still want to sync for the glsa's and new packages, unfortunately --delete and --delete-after is hardcoded in emerge when doing emerge sync, this removes the packages I have locked so I'm not able to install these packages that are in my locked profile, hereby I would like to make a request to make --delete and --delete-after optional when emerge sync, thanks a lot in advance.

copy them to your local $PORTDIR_OVERLAY

RSYNC_EXCLUDEFROM might also work
