Thank you for the contribution. Note that 1.6.4 was released yesterday. I'll take a look at including these improvements when I bump the ebuild version, hopefully by tomorrow.
Does the clipboard functionality actually work for you? When I try to use it (running ":copy_path"), I can see in Wireshark that Broot tries to talk about selections with the X server, but neither the primary selection nor the clipboard are updated.
An ebuild for 1.6.4 with these changes is available at https://github.com/creideiki/gentoo/tree/app-misc-broot-1.6.4/app-misc/broot for testing. I will submit it if someone can confirm that the clipboard works. I have tried the clipboard functionality on three machines with the same negative result, but since they are all running identically configured unstable-branch KDE Plasma desktops on X11 there may be some problem with that specific setup.
