Comment 2 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-10 10:43:12 UTC
It seems that if I disable unsermake, which I had for some reason left on, kio-locate installs.
Comment 3 Simone Gotti (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-12 08:10:21 UTC
In which way it was "on"?

Are you meaning the unsermake dir in the path? Because the build system should call "make" and not "unsermake".
Comment 4 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-12 08:54:52 UTC
I had UNSERMAKE="/usr/kde/unsermake/unsermake" in make.conf.

The log shows:
*** YOU'RE USING UNSERMAKE.
*** GOOD LUCK!! :)

I don't get this warning when I comment out the UNSERMAKE line.
Comment 5 Simone Gotti (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-12 09:19:34 UTC
Ok. Now I understand. Some packages eternal to kde-base/* won't build with unsermake (the last unsermake in kde's CVS should word quite better). I don't know that we can do something on this. Maybe disabling the unsermake use in this package, bumping unsermake and the kde.eclass to use it.
Comment 6 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-14 10:04:33 UTC
try latest unsermake. unsermake is still experimental.
