Created attachment 50927 [details] kio-locate-0.3.0.log
It seems that if I disable unsermake, which I had for some reason left on, kio-locate installs.
In which way it was "on"? Are you meaning the unsermake dir in the path? Because the build system should call "make" and not "unsermake".
I had UNSERMAKE="/usr/kde/unsermake/unsermake" in make.conf. The log shows: *** YOU'RE USING UNSERMAKE. *** GOOD LUCK!! :) I don't get this warning when I comment out the UNSERMAKE line.
Ok. Now I understand. Some packages eternal to kde-base/* won't build with unsermake (the last unsermake in kde's CVS should word quite better). I don't know that we can do something on this. Maybe disabling the unsermake use in this package, bumping unsermake and the kde.eclass to use it.
try latest unsermake. unsermake is still experimental.
