I've noticed that the "Added Packages" list on the front page on https://packages.gentoo.org/ is acting cyclically and regularly reaching the latest new package(s) to reach the tree, then looping back (when I check back in a few hours) to something old, like the set of packages around when e.g. acct-user/postfix was added.

[03:33:45] <sam_> https://packages.gentoo.org/ "added package" appears to be.. cyclic?
[03:34:04] <sam_> eventually it reaches something new added yesterday
[03:34:11] <sam_> and then it loops back around and I see random stuff like acct-user/postfix
[03:34:22] <sam_> this has been a pattern over the last day at least
