amd64 is stable, but x86 isn't as of today: KEYWORDS="amd64 ~x86 ~amd64-linux ~x86-linux ~x86-solaris" Also, why is it still restricted for amd64 if it's marked stable? RESTRICT="test" Thanks
Never mind. I found out that I now have to be more explicit when trying to emerge. emerge tomcat should now be emerge www-servers/tomcat. Previously, portage would complain saying there was more than one match on the package name, eg. www-servers/tomcat, acct-user/tomcat, acct-group/tomcat. Now an "emerge tomcat" just shows that acct-group/tomcat is installed, nothing more... Anyway, sorry for the noise here as this should be dealt elsewhere.
