Created attachment 739974 [details] caps2esc ebuild Hi! Following submission of 813843, here’s the ebuild for interception-caps2esc-0.3.2. caps2esc is an official plugin of interception-tools and does exactly what I teased in 813843: it maps esc and ctrl to maps, so that when hold ctrl is input but if released before any other key has been pressed, esc is input. I find it quite convenient, and I’m sure several other persons will agree with me. :) Note that the ebuild has no dependency to interception-tools, as it is not required to build nor to run, even though you can’t probably do much without it. I’ll gladly add a dependency if you believe it’s necessary.
Created attachment 801682 [details] interception-caps2esc 0.3.2 ebuild Hi, I’ve updated the ebuild to use the cmake eclass. I would also like to propose myself as a maintainer for this ebuild. Should I take any action in order to do so?
Even though your ebuild doesn't RDEPEND on interception-tools, this bug should depend on bug #813843, as a gentoo bug report. (At least put the link to it.) Thanks.
Hi, following the initiative of @julian on bug 813843, I’ve added interception-caps2esc to guru, commit 339133e66d2b2938918f21466920667c80008b87.
