Description Dirkjan Ochtman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-09 06:16:29 UTC
I'm trying to install mod_transform with my stable Apache (2.0.52-r1). First of all, the dependencies list in the ebuild seem to be wrong. At least, they are different than the webpage suggests [1]. Second, it doesn't seem to want to install, because it's depending on the masked apache-2.0.52-r3.

After some research, this seems to have something to do with that whole package refresh thingie, but I was wondering how long that will take.

Reproducible: Always

If you want install packages that are in testing _and_ p.mask'ed, you need to install their dependencies - you generally can't mix and match, certainly not in this case.

If you want to install mod_transform-0.6.0, you'll need to unmask apache, apr, apr-util and gentoo-webroot-default.

The refresh will hopefully be happening on the 12th of February ('05 ;-)
