your system looks pretty out of date to me. Can you do a emerge -v world and see if that helps please?

Found the problem!!! It was all about my environmental variables: WANT_AUTOMAKE=2.5 and WANT_AUTOCONF=1.something :( You decide if this is still a bug. Thanx again! Vlada
