Created attachment 50677 [details] mp3report ebuild Did corrected some small formating errosrs (tabs)
Please fix the following and reopen: * KEYWORDS violates policy. * You should probably (R)DEPEND upon perl too. * No need to dodoc COPYING * No need for the RESTRICT.
This was my first ebuild I wrote, so it was not perfect. I changed the following: *Removed RESTRICT *Changed KEYWORDS to ~x86 *Removed dodoc COPYING *Changed the SRC_URI to SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/${PN}/${PF}.tar.gz" *Changed RDEPEND perl and MP3Info (which I do not really understand since MP3Info already depends on perl)

Created attachment 66345 [details] mp3report-1.0.2.ebuild Corrected Lisence from GPL-2 to GPL
You actually broke it with that change.. hydrogen@hydrogen portage 0 0.31 $ ls /usr/portage/licenses/ | grep GPL GMGPL GPL-1 GPL-2 GPL-2-with-linking-exception LGPL-2 LGPL-2.1 LGPL-2.1-FPC LGPL-2.1-linking-exception LLGPL-2.1 Those are your valid license choices.
Created attachment 66366 [details] mp3report-1.0.2.ebuild Fixed lisence issue.
Created attachment 69662 [details] mp3report-1.0.2.ebuild I have corrected the license; as seen in COPYING; this script is licensed as GPL version 2, not version 1. Also, I have merged the two doins statements.
Note that I am an amd64 dev, I will ask for the package to be keyworded ~x86. This package is now in the portage tree.
Finally "my" first ebuild in the tree. THX
