If I try to emerge qmail-scanner after having emerged bitdefender-console, qmail-scanner will try to use bdc as a virus scanner. This leads to the following access violation: --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY --------------------------- LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-mail-filter_-_qmail-scanner-1.24-30777.log" open_wr: /opt/bdc/plugins.htm Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
How is this qmail-scanner's file different from bitdefender-console's ? Maybe qmail-scanner doesn't need to install it at all...
Guys, what's the status on this one? IMO it is enough to just remove the conflicting file from qmail-scanner portage image before merging it into system, as bitdefender provides it already. Could you attach the file from qmail-scanner here please? I'd like to have a look at it and compare it with bitdefender's version.
ah, another broken virus scanner (that tries to do writes when it shouldn't). adding 'addpredict /opt/bdc/plugins.htm' to the qmail-scanner ebuild should fix it.

Well, can someone from qmail team fix qmail-scanner as Robin suggested?
addpredict /opt/bdc/plugins.htm has been added please test for assurance purpose marking testing.
