Kde-plasma/kwin-5.22.4-r1::gentoo
Kwin calls eninja, but did not pull dev-util/ninja. 

Still haven’t gotten past tty so apologies

The CMake eclass (which is inherited) does depend on ninja?

We need a build.log and emerge --info attached, I think.

Did not enable saving of build logs, will try to remerge with that enabled

I'm starting to think more this problem was on my end, because according to portage ninja is already installed even though it isn't, This computer has crashed during an emerge -e which probably broke it. Apologies for the inconvenience, have a wonderful rest of your day and keep making gentoo awesome
