Kde-plasma/kwin-5.22.4-r1::gentoo Kwin calls eninja, but did not pull dev-util/ninja. Still haven’t gotten past tty so apologies
The CMake eclass (which is inherited) does depend on ninja? We need a build.log and emerge --info attached, I think.

I'm starting to think more this problem was on my end, because according to portage ninja is already installed even though it isn't, This computer has crashed during an emerge -e which probably broke it. Apologies for the inconvenience, have a wonderful rest of your day and keep making gentoo awesome
