The look of openoffice is greatly enhanced by this ebuild change as it enables the bytecode in the statically included freetype.

Created attachment 4048 [details] openoffice-ebuild.zip (The ebuild that compiles against freetype-2.1.2) I did change the ebuild to build against freetype-2.1.2. I had openoffice believe it is still compiling against freetype-2.0.5 (by renaming the package), while it is not. We now have a good-looking fast openoffice.
Added -r1 with freetype-2.1.2.
