the title says it all. I'd also like to point out that the tarball on mozilla's site now has the version number in the name, so it would be possible to mirror it on our Gentoo mirrors now. Enjoy Colin

Great. Doesn't seem to work tho. ---- $ sunbird No running windows found /usr/bin/sunbird: line 88: 14870 Segmentation fault $mozbin "$@"
That seems to be a common trend with GTK2.6 and recent libc's or whatever.
It works for me, and it doesn't look like a problem with the ebuild either. I don't realy know how to fix whatever's wrong there. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not a dev nor the maintainer for this package. I suppose if my ebuild gets accepted there may be some changes made, and maybe your bug will be fixed (by the way if you cant fix it it should probably have its own bug filed)
Here's our bug for Dan's problem, complete with a link to the upstream bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78087
And the initial posting of the bug was even earlier: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77819
try: sunbird -calendar works for me with gtk 2.6.2
Can you please remove the old mozilla-sunbird-bin ebuilds from portage? No need to have them there, and portage thinks they are newer versions than 0.2 because the version number is something like 0.2.20041112 (badly chosen version name, should have been 0.1.99.2004112, or something like that). Thanks.
0.2 is in portage now
