Description Alexander Rigbo 2005-02-04 12:14:23 UTC
I'm using a ~x86 system that has been working great for a few months.
But.
When i upgraded to alsa-driver 1.0.8 (via emerge -u world) i only got output in my left speaker. I've tried to remerge alsa-driver, alsa-libs, alsa-headers and alsa-utils but still no go.
I'm using kernel 2.6.9.
My soundcard is a builtin VIA82xx (VIA8235 to be exact).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Well, merge alsa-driver 1.0.8

Actual Results:
No output on the right channel.

Expected Results:
Output on both channels.

It seems that it worked because of a bug in the previous version.
I had the plug to the speakers in the wrong outlet on the soundcard.
It gave me real sound on 1.0.7 but not on 1.0.8.
