Description Fabio Rossi 2005-02-04 06:39:37 UTC
I'm using udev 045. In /etc/udev/permissions.d/50-udev.permissions I find the following lines for floppy devices:

# floppy devices
fd[01]*:root:floppy:0660

But /dev/fd0 is only a symbolic link. The real device is /dev/floppy/0. Is it missing a line like

floppy/*:root:floppy:0660

in the permissions file?

Reproducible: Always

Should be fixed in 051 release of udev.
