Hi all, now that the Eclipse people have put out their first openjdk release, replacing adoptopenjdk.net, I've made a patch to update the download link. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 730951 [details, diff] Bump opendk version and update download link
we are waiting for them to publish tarballs for all architectures. so far it's only amd64. rest are missing.
I see Linux packages for x64, ppc64le and arm64 on their download page: https://adoptium.net/releases.html?variant=openjdk16&jvmVariant=hotspot The latest packages are still available from the AdoptOpenJDK site as well. Also, can we get jdk16 into unstable? Latest Minecraft requires Java 16.
Does Gentoo package all the OpenJDK versions or just the Long Term Stable (LTS) releases? You might be better waiting for OpenJDK 17 next month, which should be the next LTS.
yeah I see archives landed. will bump soon. as for version 16 - we add only LTS, openjdk-17 will be available in September once released, so very soon. no plans to add openjdk-16, it will be dead in less than a month.
(In reply to Georgy Yakovlev from comment #5) > yeah I see archives landed. will bump soon. Hi, Is there any news on this bump? AFAIK 11.0.12 contains a number of security fixes.

yeah no arm32, idk if it's just for this release or permanent. arm32 tarball is usually delayed, sometimes significantly. bumped. but no arm32. https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=471c43ee7290a2723172199d3cb9026396a0056b
