Description REdOG 2005-02-03 15:03:57 UTC
I've been useing (mostly) the same .config since 2.6.2 and currently have working 2.6.5, 2.6.8, and 2.6.7 kernels on my G4 powerbook.
After booting 2.6.10 the keymappings on several keys are not proper.
I am not sure what causes this but its not cute. All the other kernels still do the proper operations for all keys.

Sorry, but we need more information:

Do you have a non-US key layout?
What specific problem are you having (Which keys, etc.)?
Can you provide your config?

kernel config file

This is the config I used.

This is a us keymap.
US keyboard, and the original keyboard that comes on the powerbook.
I just recompiled and tested again and it seems that I overstated the problem.
The only keycode that has changed is fn+enter.
The code changed from 101 to 127 as shown with showkey.
I remember other fn+key's preforming differently but after tracking and compareing all combinations on my current kernel against 2.6.10-r6 that(fn+enter) is the only differnece I tracked.

Right, some keycodes had changed. But that happened already in an earlier 2.6-kernel.
