Description johan svensson 2005-02-03 08:13:58 UTC
When I try to emerge gnome, it failes when it comes to nautilus (gnome-base/nautilus-2.8.2-r1). I've had this problem for a week, and I've recently done emerge sync && emerge -uD world successfully, but still the problem occurs. Here follows a paste of the interesting part of the output from emerge:

Sorry, this is really embarrasing. I solved the problem with some help from #gentoo at irc.freenode.org. However, this is what had to be done:

1. emerge /usr/portage/sys-devel/automake/automake-1.4_p6.ebuild
2. emerge automake-wrapper
