Description anton 2002-09-17 22:31:05 UTC
While using a logitech mouseman optical sensor USB mouse, UT2003 does not
recognise the mouse wheel movements. Perhaps xserver not being configured for
it. This mouse was tested with other linux distros, mouse wheel works with rh 7.3.

Anton, can you attach your XF86Config from rh 7.3 so I can make sure I add
proper mouse-wheel support to the livecd? Thanks!

xserver configuration file from caldera 3.1

I attached the my x configuration from a system running caldera 3.1, the mouse
wheel works on it. I think the key here is to enable "ZAxisMapping 4 5" in the
configuration file.

OK, the i586-1.4.1 CD (being uploaded now, appearing on ibiblio in a couple of
hours) supports the mouse wheel. Enjoy! :)
