Arfrever suggested a few improvements on the PR [0] after merging:
- special cases for odd SONAMEs (https://github.com/gentoo/devmanual/pull/225#discussion_r664387544)
- mention public header changes (https://github.com/gentoo/devmanual/pull/225#discussion_r664396674)
- SONAME phrasing (https://github.com/gentoo/devmanual/pull/225#discussion_r664399156, https://github.com/gentoo/devmanual/pull/225#discussion_r664409058).

I'll work on this, but filing a bug so I don't forget.
