Only stable version of samba in portage (`=net-fs/samba-4.13.9-r2`) is incompatible with this new `=sys-libs/ldb-2.3.0-r1`: <sys-libs/ldb-2.3.0[ldap(+),abi_x86_32(-),abi_x86_64(-)] required by (net-fs/samba-4.13.9-r2:0/0::gentoo, installed) And for sure, portage's not confused, the samba ebuild explicitly forbids ldb ≥ 2.3.0.

That’s okay though. While it gives you a harmless warning, it’s not _wrong_. You just need to wait for a newer Samba to be stabled.
