Description Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-01 12:33:26 UTC
Myself and others were experiencing a problem where evolution suddenly refused to send plain-text passwords. Forum thread can be found at http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=2045023 .

Outside of that thread I filed a bug with ximian here: http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=71414

I was told it was fixed in CVS and so found the patch. I am going to be attaching needed patch and ebuild diff for a 2.0.3-r2 ebuild.

Comment 4 Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-02-02 06:12:42 UTC
I don't see how bug 80411 is a duplicate of this. That bug describes app hanging/freezing with various gtk+ apps. This bug is a specific problem with evolution not saving a preference, and no hanging/freezing.

I have added this in cvs. Thank you for the bug tracking work.
