Description Robert Cole 2002-09-17 01:37:18 UTC
Can I get this added as an ebuild? It can wait till it's final release. I think
this would make a great addition to the portage tree.

Robert

the URL times out for me
could you post what it is exactly ?
Comment 2 Robert Cole 2002-09-17 13:23:04 UTC
This is a neat looking app that allows you to setup a CDRW station on your network so that any system connected to the network can burn CD's. That way you don't have to have a CDRW drive in every station. It's called webCDwriter.

cool ill work on it after the 1.4 freeze ;)

update java deps
Comment 13 Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-02 23:57:35 UTC
I tried to emerge the ebuild, but get the following error:

Store.cpp: In constructor `Store::Store()':
Store.cpp:35: error: array bound forbidden after parenthesized type-id
Store.cpp:35: note: try removing the parentheses around the type-id
make[1]: *** [Store.o] Error 1

Probably a gcc-3.4-error? Did you compiled on gcc-3.3?
Comment 14 INODE64 Sistemas 2004-12-03 04:01:18 UTC
Yes , I compile in gcc 3.3.4
Comment 15 Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-03 09:34:58 UTC
Added morfic as he will look in the gcc-3.4 problem.

app-cdr/webcdwriter.tar.bz2

Current ebuild and patch-files with older patches applied.
Comment 17 Disenchanted (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-03 09:42:32 UTC
Reassigning to gcc-porting, so gcc-porting people have a chance to look at it before my -e world finishes, until then i can only say it shouldnt be too hard to make gcc3.4 like this
Comment 18 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-12-03 19:55:23 UTC
the error is pretty self-explanatory ;)

Store.cpp:35: note: try removing the parentheses around the type-id

Webcdwriter-2.6.8

Update to version 2.6.8
check for installed jnlp-bin correctly
for java requiere virtual/jdk
and check in gcc 3.4.3 and run fine
Comment 20 Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-10 11:25:55 UTC
Finally, it's in portage!
