Version 0.22 of the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG driver is out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -p ipw2200 Actual Results: Note lack of new version. Expected Results: Show new version ready to emerge.
Version 1.0.0 is out. Jeremy, will you add this to portage?
Yes, sorry about the delay with 0.21 -- I had actually begun working on it, but I noticed you had added the ebuild. 1.0.0 is in portage now.
Jeremy, I sent you at least 3 mails to your @gentoo.org address before adding the ebuild - didn't you receive any of those? Why did you re-add support for the broken WPA implementation? We were explicitely asked by upstream to disable it. Why did you change the DESCRIPTION? People looking for an IPW2915 driver will now no longer find net-wireless/ipw2200 when searching portage. Why does net-wireless/ipw2200-1.0.0 depend on >=net-wireless/wireless-tools-27_pre23? Why does ipw2200-1.0.0 inherit from eutils.eclass?
Those changes were by mistake. I used by mistake a revision of the 0.21 ebuild that I had been working on prior to your own ebuild for 0.21, rather than your 0.21 ebuild that is in CVS. It should be the same file as the 0.21 ebuild.
