http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?part=1&chap=7 states to mount devfs at boot, while http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/udev-guide.xml states not to. Apparantly with 2.6 (default kernel on amd64) we cannot mount devfs and use udev, as it breaks things.
