lyx ./configure has an option --with-frontend=gtk that cannot be enabled via a gtk USE flag (as opposed to qt, see ebuild). Would be nice to have GTK support for GNOME users, though!

Does it really have that option? Seeing configure and configure.ac
script, gnome frontend seems commented out by default.
