The examples are not installed at all (e.g. carpal).

A good place to put them might be the /usr/share/doc/expect directory.

Hi Y-z.

I finally got over to this request.
I added some code to install examples if USE flag doc is defined. The examples
would go into /usr/share/doc/${PF}/examples/.
Please test and report.
