As per the discussion on the gentoo-catalyst mailing list, here is a bug for changing the functionality of the pause when livecd-stage2 is running in verbose mode. Patch to follow. One change was made over the code shown on the ml. Instead of checking the length of the string, the return code on 'read' is checked. This is done because key presses like space and enter would not properly register otherwise.
