Description Christian Schlotter 2005-01-27 07:38:30 UTC
Hi!

app-misc/jbidwatcher and net-misc/bidwatcher perform exactly the same task, but do not reside in the some category. This should be changed.

For my taste app-misc does fit better for both programs than net-misc.

Best regards
Christian

i agree, jbidwatcher resides in app-misc and should stay there. please move net-misc/bidwatcher to that category. not a java issue, removing from cc list.
Comment 2 Christian Schlotter 2005-06-23 13:05:31 UTC
In the meantime ebayagent has been added to the (IMHO) wrong category net-misc.

bidwatcher is completely borked currently, shuffling it around won't fix anything.
Comment 4 Christian Schlotter 2006-07-16 10:16:49 UTC
This bug is not about fixing the program, but about consistently categorizing bidding agents. So I cannot follow your argument for closing the bug. Also note, that this bug also is about ebayagent.

Yeah, we don't care at the moment => LATER.
