Using KDE Plasma 5.22.1/Frameworks 5.83.0, running under Wayland. Double-clicking any type of movie file (mkv, wmv, avi, mpg, whatever) launches SMplayer however the video will not play. Error displayed: "Ooops, something went wrong. Mplayer/mpv has finished unexpectedly. Exit code: 1" The same issue occurs if you open a file manually in SMPlayer or drag a file onto the viewing area. Under xorg it works just fine. Other video players (VLC) are not affected. The only version available in Portage is 20.6.0 but 21.1.0 has been released, highlighting it now has Wayland support. Can the version in Portage be updated to the currently-released version please?
