Recently Snort and Snort-inline merged. There is now a compile time option with snort > 2.3 --enable-inline.

configure patch to allow snort to compile against libnet-1.0 with --enable-inline

Use this patch against snort 2.3.0 to be able to compile and use snort inline.

I would submit a full ebuild (the one I built in portage overlay), but I have
hacked it up so much it is a disgrace (removed use flags etc).

I have it sucessfully compiling with this patch.
